Seventh Annual Real Estate Market Review: A 360 Analysis of 2009

On Tuesday, February 16, 2010, commercial property owners, developers, and related business professionals throughout the Metropolitan Richmond area will converge for the Seventh Annual Real Estate Market Review, presented by the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE). This signature event will be held at The Westin Hotel at Reynolds Crossing, 6631 West Broad Street, from 7:30 to 9:15 am. A breakfast event, the Real Estate Market Review provides GRACRE members and guests an unparalleled opportunity to learn about the significant real estate developments and emerging trends in 2009 in the industrial, investment, office and retail markets. Residential real estate has been added to the program for this year because of its importance and contributing factors in the commercial real estate turmoil.

The five-member panel includes: Peter S. Olson, Senior Associate, CB Richard Ellis (Industrial); Brett Womack McNamee, Senior Vice President, Divaris Real Estate (Retail); John Gentry, Senior Vice President, Harrison & Bates Investment Realty Advisors (Investment); Mac Wilson, Leasing Associate, Thalhimer (Office); and Laura Lafayette, Chief Executive Officer, the Richmond Association of Realtors (Residential). Deputy Business Editor for the Richmond Times Dispatch Gregory J. Gilligan will serve as the program moderator.

“With the worst economy since the Depression, our members and their guests are eager to see how the real estate market in Richmond fared in 2009 and where the market is heading in 2010,” states Debbie Wake, GRACRE president. “Our panel of knowledgeable experts should provide very timely, extremely relevant information.”
